3D representation of the component on screen and the finished item
The MKW Group has streamlined the way in which complex designs move from the “drawing board” to the machine shop.
The Group has replaced “traditional” manufacture from design drawings with the use of electronic models.
The new method is very much at the “top end” of industry practice and enables shortened lead times and reduced costs.
The designer sees a 3D representation of the component on screen while he works, and the completed component then appears as a “screen dump”.
